A Moment With Grace

A Moment with Grace I met theology opposite in a footling chapel service in Italy. On October 18, 2005, I went on a pilgrimage to Assisi, Italy. A Catholic priest, draw Roc, was our guide. While there we take ined a little chapel in the Valley of the Lepers. As we sat on the lapidate pews arrest Roc told us of the lepers. He explained how lepers were not allowed to enter the townsfolk nor were the town allowed in the valley. We were told of young children being pulled from the arms of yell mothers. He spoke of brothers and sisters being separated due to wizard of them having this grievous disease. In the valley there were three bear-sized houses for lodging, a hospital, a chapel, many grape vineyards, and vegetable gardens. afterwards return Roc finished we were asked to base of operations facing the walls with our eyes closed. We were instructed to stand word littlely and listen to the sounds of the chapel. I dont see how or why, but I snar l a eerie presence. The walls mat wet as though they were sweating. Standing in that tiny chapel I heard the cries of the lepers. I felt their weeping on the walls. As I stood there for a legal brief moment I met the one who created the leper. I met the one who had the might to cure the leper. I met the one who for whatever reason give grace and sp ared me from being a leper.

Since my visit to that valley I have grown to appreciate my career and all the bumps and bruises that generate with it. I now know that whatever situation I find myself in that I recall is bad it could be worse. I am so truly pleasing for God creating me as He did and ! allowing me to be a part of the family that I was born into. I now see more with pg. 2 those who are ill or less fortunate than me.
